A few to follow Wednesday

Print Friendly

**I will add a Quaddie closer to the races..

We have a bit of time so why not look at a few we could be able to follow with some confidence Wednesday:

EAGLE FARM (These two will not be value but may be worth thought for an all-up)

Race 1 No.1 – ROCK HOME LATE

*Not his best preparation but has put in some decent runs at the same time. Won’t get a better chance to win one again this prep.

Race 5 No.2 – BAY STAR

*She should be better than these. Holt who is in form claims 3kg and gets every chance from gate 2.

*How short? That’s the biggest concern.!

 Tatts

CAULFIELD:

Race 3 No.4 – SPECTER

*I have to admit he is not one I usually follow as he has an avg win strike rate. In saying that he has got over more ground, had some ordinary luck and rides in there too.

*Looks extremely well placed, gets a great run from the barrier and Dunn should be able to pounce after straightening.

Race 8 No.14 – COMPLICATE

*Very competitive race but this guy is on the way up and is in for his best preparation yet.

*Last prep won Canberra Guineas, 2nd in Gosford Guineas, beaten less than one length in Hawksbury Gunieas and 5th in the QLD guineas.

*Second up off a win here and gets in on the minimum. Hard to beat.

Here are our BLACKBOOKERS running Wednesday:

Goldslick – Caulfield R7 No.7 (1600m):  Rather her at Flemington, but will go close.
Bay Star – Eagle Farm R5 No.2 (1200m): Should win this ordinary race.
