It’s a lot better time of year to be punting now the carnival is over and we had a much better weekend just gone. Plenty caught the eye over the week, here are a few.
FOXPACK– Might have been beaten 2L but was up on speed in a fast run race. Similar grade and maybe at Doomben she can win again soon.
OCEAN ADDICT– So consistent and should be better for the run at the 2200m. Can be very competitive again next time out.
LOOKS LIKE ELVIS– Was always going to be better over 1400m on the dry ground but will again be better out to a mile next start.
THE AVENGER– Loomed to win but looked as though condition gave way off the let up. Better for it.
ZOULOU DANCER– (GC) Drifter on the day but ran well and just beaten by the plonk horse. She will get out of CL1 company soon.
