Blackbookers and early mail selections

Print Friendly

A couple of winners came out of the blackbookers on Saturday and we have a few more to add as usual.

UNDER THE SUN- For some reason this bloke had a few doubters, but he was strong when challenged and has a bright future.

LUCRIPETOUS- A nice improving 3 year old for Waller. The Derby in Brisbane may come early, but he is worth following.

MISS BINDI- Underrated mare who always puts in. She can win again.

SHEZAHOTSHOT- Stayer who has now had a few runs back and improved each run. She is ready to show her best and will be nice odds when she steps out again.

SATURN ROCK- They rode her a bit different from her kiwi form and she hit the line as if the Sires will be right up her ally.

MARGINS-This blokes run was just awesome. Ran into big trouble early and then made a massive run very wide to go down narrowly.

SOLZHENITSYN- Stays in the book and will run Saturday.

DUSTY GOLD- Very good run after being very wide. Better for a couple of runs back and can be in the winner’s circle shortly.

EXCELLANTES- Stable is sticking to 1100-1200m with him this time in work and he can string a few together.

ALTAI WARRIOR- Super run and was climbing their backs at the 50m. Eagle Farm and getting to the outside is the key.

***We have a Blackbooker running Friday at Scone- Race 3 No 1 EUCUMBENE

**This morning was also the early weekend selections I do on RadioTab with Steve Hewlett.

This week they were..

Brisbane Race 1 no 4 AUDACIOUS SPIRIT.

Brisbane Race 7 No 1 MANIGHAR.

The roughie I mentioned for quaddies was ROCKSAN in the Roses at Doomben Saturday at $41.

*TORIO’S QUEST runs Friday at Scone also and $6 looks a nice e/w price.
