Blackbookers for the future

Print Friendly

Welcome to this week’s edition of the blackbookers.

It has been tough to follow some of the blackbookers through the rain affected tracks, but I’m sure we can boot home a few more winners shortly, and these horses can help us do that.

SHEZAHOTSHOT-She was good again and was stepping up from 1600-2000m on a heavy track. I’ll find out her program this week, but believe Grafton cup is the Grand Final.

AL’S GOLD- No luck at all in the straight and will step out at big odds next start.

SUNSET AFFAIR- Heinrich will place this to advantage and a win would be expected next run.

PLAYACTION- Looks to be getting to near his best and that would be enough to see him around the money for the rest of his prep. More than handy at this time of year.

OUR SMOKIN’ROCK- Not sure if it will head to Sunshine Coast Guineas, but if that’s the case it can be competitive.

DANCE WITH HER- She’s a chance to run in another race or two up here and with any rain what so ever she will just about start fav. Underrated horse.

SAVANNAH’S CHOICE- Loomed to win but fitness gave in. She will improve lengths on that and I’m very keen to follow.

AVOID LIGHTNING- Very impressive and has better wins in store.

SCOTTISH BORDER- Has a habit of getting up at big odds and is nearing peak fitness. May need one more, but worth following.

**Matt Dunn article will be on the site tomorrow.

*Also remember to listen to RadioTab for the early market selections when I join Steve Hewlett during Thursday morning. Late acceptors make it hard this week, but I’m sure we can steer you into a winner.

**I would also like to thank ICEWORKS for a great Luncheonlast week leading into the Stradbroke weekend. Tony Mee and the staff were terrific hosts and it won’t be the last one i go to. A cracking day was had by all, as well as plenty of laughs. here are a few pics of the day.
