Blackbookers from the meetings I covered this week.
BOOM EXPRESS– Well beaten but the effort was good fresh. Can find a weaker maiden at the GC or somewhere and be winning next start.
TOOMAI– Have to admit I didn’t think she was very good before her last couple but she’s found her mojo and racing well now. Can win a similar race up here soon.
PULL ANCHOR– Just needed the run and no hope from back there. Can improve sharply if she goes to EF next start.
NATURAL EMPEROR– Sprinted quickly but I feel it might have been a mix of an ill-timed ride and lack of fitness as it fell in a hole late. This was a handy field and can win something easier soon.
DIRTY DIARY– Every possibly chance but will be winning races up north.
STUBAI– Had his as the best there and it was a good win but I couldn’t believe it when Stewart was pushing him at the 600m. I thought he’d have to stop late but his best part was the L100m.
OKIE– Rock hard fit now and just bumped into a handy one. (Stubai)
