Extremely busy week. I’ll do the full Brissy preview at The Race Club but i’ve got to do the Gold Coast preview as well as the Warwick preview for Cup day so no time to type out Brisbane.
Race 1: SIR BARNABUS will be fitter for the last start effort. Have had a small play at $4.80.
Race 2: STRIKE looks above average. Goes on top but i’m not taking odds on in a 2yr old race.
Race 3: MAGIC TRICK at $5 got a wager from me.
Race 4: ELIXIR on top in an even sort of race. $3.60 short enough.
Race 5: No’s 5-2-1, not much between them.
Race 6: Nah
Race 7: FRANCISCA $5 looks well placed again. Forgiving last start, if she doesn’t go very close here with all the favours she will get life. Happy to have something on her and RED STINA, would have loved to have seen the jumpout, her form last prep more than good enough for this.
Race 8: SCALLOPINI and CADOGAN, probably in that order however prices don’t allow us to back both. Not sure I get involved or not.
Race 9: 7-2-1-11 but a lot depends on how the track is playing at this time of the day. Wide gates not as bad as they look if swooping.
