MIAMI FLIESS– We are still learning about her and we still need to know how strong she is 1200m etc but this was a good start to the prep. Double figure gates from that starting point are horrible and she was just another caught out by it. It would have been the perfect opportunity to see how she went ridden back but it’s not the end of the world. Gave a great kick off a horrible run and went super.
HINGED– This stable is flying and this horse is airborne. She has sat up on speed and gone 5.4L faster than CL benchmark. She has then finished in the 3rd best L200m of the meeting! (12.16)
WARP SPEED– Didn’t really want to blackbook any of these stayers but I did like his run. After getting back in the walking race he ran the best splits from the 600-200m but the task was too much. Ready to win a similar race.
ADONISEA– Still a class 1 horse and just aimed too high. Too far back but the run was full of merit. Will be winning something easier.
SO CLEVER– Gone through to a good level very quickly in his first prep. Nothing went right here and still loved to see the fight in the straight. He will be a better horse next prep but could win one in town before a break.
ROMAN AUREUS– So brave after being wide. Deserves a win soon!
