Darryl Hansen is back!
That’s right, the 6 month stint on the sidelines seems to have flown by, but for the Sunshine Coast trainer it has felt like a lifetime. Like most of these things it is not worth looking back and staying angry at things. Darryl and his team are looking forward and he’s confident that even with a lot of hard work ahead, he can get the stable firing at the level he had it at before.
“I’ve been back since last Wednesday. I had around 26 in work before and have around 21 in the stable now. I’ve got a few of my old owners, some new owners and some new babies from the magic millions sales. It’s gonna be a long re-build but hopefully after a few month we can get back on our feet” Hansen said.
He also has Hussonator back in the stable, she has won 8 of her 28 starts and will lead the stable as they work their way back to where they were. Darryl also said there are a few untried 3 year olds that he hopes will measure up.
