Leading into the Gold Coast’s biggest day I thought there would be some punters chasing some early selections to see if there is some value around. These are the tips I gave on RadioTab this morning.

*Two solid runs at Sunny Coast and then flew late behind Demanding Miss.
*Half-brother to top horse Bold Glance.
*Needs a touch of luck from the gate but may have class edge here.
Race 7 no.1 CATAPULTED $3.50 on Tatts
*Raced well and improved each run. Dominant last start.
*He is the true Group 1 horse engaged.
*Either leads or sits 3rd the fence and gets every possible chance.
Race 8 no.10 EMVOSS $3.40 on Tatts
*Great run to just get beat in the Berborough.
*Meets Kontiki Park 4kg better off at the weights here.
*6 starts at the coast for 4 wins and a second placing’s.
*Think he will start shorter on the day!
**Also think DISCREET at $26 and ALEZAN THUNDER at $17 are the value in the big one.
