A few days to Christmas, just want to say a big thankyou to all for supporting the site for another year. We’ve just had the anniversary of Brissyraces- 9 years, time fly’s when you’re having fun!
We have had a lot of changes in the nine year period. Unfortunately the biggest change has probably been this year, we were based around the affiliate set up and as much as it’s not a perfect set up it was the one thing that kept sites like mine FREE for punters as it was a source of income and there was no need to charge. That income has dried up completely and I’ve obviously had to focus on other areas for an income which means Brissyraces is probably a shadow of what it once was. The good thing is the GCTC have been great and they have started their own web page where all my coast info is at for free, its essentially like this page but with more info and based at the coast. Also The Race Club have been very good to me for those looking for a cheap paid service with all states covered by good judges!

FRIDAY:
Race 2 No.3- DENARIUS
Opened $9 with Churning in the race but she’ll run Sat. Just feel he’s going as well as he possibly can. Ramtastic leads for a long way and this guy is the one who will be extremely strong late. Rail out so far the little query if the track has a bias. Have I mentioned how much I hate these rail movements???

Race 3 No.2- ALDERMAN $4.20
Went fast up front last start and only run over late. Gets a better time up front here, might be biased to the front and feel he will be very hard to run down if that’s the case.

SATURDAY:
Eagle Farm Race 5 No.6- MISSION PHOENIX $3.60
I was going to back CHAINS OF HONOUR all week, have changed at the last moment, I have saved that horse and backed MISSION PHOENIX who looks a good stayer in the making. A little one paced but has the right jock on to make it a good staying test and this bloke will keep finding. Love the fact his L200m was even better than his 4-200m split last start off a fast tempo!

Race 7 No.6- MEWSTONE ROCK $3.20
Opened a better price, with a good steer looks the one to beat. Good at Listed level last start and to the big track looks perfect. Doesn’t have to land last, can land in front of 4-5 and be the one running over them late.

Race 9 No.14-BORN BAD $5.50
Can’t believe I’m tipping here, have been waiting for this horse to step out again after I made him a best bet last start and he won well. Very clever stable, no doubt this has been a plan for a while and if Allen can save him for the last shot and not go early he looks worth a flutter. Luck needed in the big field, he does just have to run up to his last two efforts to go close.
