There were 16 trials at the Gold Coast this morning.
Those who follow the ‘Gibbo’s Tips’ page at the GCTC will know I hand pick the races I feel we can find some up coming winners from and throw them up on that website.

TRIAL 6 (Open) 1000m (1.01.52)
Tricky to get a guide on them here as they didn’t go hard. In saying that I still think nearly all of them went well. Was keen to see how STAR REFLECTION was going to go. We see a lot of stayers heading north for the Waller stable but these are the types I’d like to see more of. She is on the verge of Listed grade and there will be plenty of races she can be placed in to find winning form. Her trial was good and sound and keen to follow her in Qld. FAIRY ME HOME got up on the inside late. Not sold on him to be honest but have to be forgiving of the last start as it was EF and many horses just don’t go there. GLEN ORD was pushed out but good to win. ELIXIR and SIMPLY SACRED quiet trials and pass marks for sure.
