A very eye-catching, striking colt. By Golden Slipper winner STRATUM who also sired Golden Slipper winner Crystal Lilly. He has a lot of strength and power about him with a correct and good action. Tony felt this colt had a lot of presence – there was “something definitely about him”. John and Tony’s opinion is that he will sprint , so a candidate for the 2018 Inglis 2YO race over 1200m (worth of 200k with a BOBS bonus – held in February at Randwick) This colt comes from a family of winners. We know the family well having trained a sibling who was city class. We have had good success with Stratums, notably TRAKSTAR who is a very sound 7YO – still up at racing with earnings above 300k. This colt is a perfect horse to race in QLD being QTIS but we can also travel him south to get the bonus money as he is BOBS eligible too.

A big strong colt by the Leading First season sire Smart Missile. Smart Missile was exhilarating on the track and regarded by leading jockeys as the fastest horse they have ever sat on. His popularity at stud is best captured by the fact that he has served 997 mares in his first 5 seasons at stud.
The dam Adio by the great Lohnro was herself a very good racehorse who had her career cut short after just 2 starts in which she was victorious on both occasions. Her trainer John Hawkes had a high opinion and declared her a Group class horse.
