Like to think we are more than fair on the jocks and that I talk about good rides more than bad rides. Don’t get me wrong there were some shockers over the weekend but I want to mention a few of the best.
C.BAYLISS- His ride on FANTASY at Toowoomba was outstanding, they went fast and he sat last. Instead of panicking before the corner, taking off early and wide he stayed inside horses, he saved ground and held his nerve in a bumping duel. His ride got you the cash if you were on FANTASY. At first glance I also thought his ride on I’VE GOTTA NEL was great, he nursed as long as possible and nearly stole the race. I just wanted to go over the replay again before I added this ride but the Racing Qld web search is not working again for the 4th time in 4 weeks and the replays weren’t on the SKY search box either. Makes it hard for all the different websites out there to promote QLD when we can’t watch replays.
MALONEY- Nothing that special about the ride on COOL CHAP other than the fact he waited 100m longer than nearly every other jock in every other race to ask for the supreme effort. That’s how EF should be ridden in my opinion.
