Heaps of places in town to choose from for brekky each day before my crew and others try their luck at the casino to see if their luck is in before heading to the track…. Both days of racing are competitive and the Cup on the Saturday is always a good race, this year shapes as a very handy race with the recent Cairns and Townsville cups being close run affairs and very little between a handful of them. There is a relaxed feel to the whole carnival and is enjoyable for all people, not just the punters amongst us.
