Half way through the racing season already and the battle for the QTIS Premiership titles is heating up.
Aimee, (pictured, Dan Costello Racing) by Wattle Brae Stud sire Exceddingly Good, had a clear lead for the 2yo QTIS Runners by Earnings for February, collecting $52,500 in bonus cash for the month. Sarisara, by Eureka Stud’s Champion Stallion Red Dazzler was second after earning $24,500 and Glenlogan Park’s stallion Falvelon sired the third top earner, I Am Boss, who won $10,500 in QTIS bonus prizemoney last month.
That’s resulted in some changes to the 2yo Earnings for the Season. No Problem, by Glenlogan Park sire Real Saga, remains on the top of the table for the second consecutive month with a total of $56,000 in QTIS bonuses. But Aimee has raced into second position with $52,500. She’s pushed former front runners, Celestial Dragon, Setfire to Therain and Stroak into third position. They’ve been joined by Sarisara following her good wins last month.
The progeny of Eureka Stud sire Red Dazzler dominate the 3yo QTIS Runners on Earnings for February with Casarati leading the way after collecting $28,000 in QTIS bonuses over the past four weeks.
Former Wattle Brae sire Court Command’s top runner, Total Authority is second with $24,500 while another former promising Queensland sire, Hotel Grand claimed third spot thanks to his boom galloper Secret Harmony.
Despite those good efforts, there was no change to the top five positions for 3yo QTIS Runners on Earnings for the season with Queen of the Lochs (Bradbury’s Luck) remaining on top followed by Hot Saga (Real Saga), Bodegra Negra (Hidden Dragon), Londehero (Lonhro) and Spelndora (Jet Spur).
