Just a quick note to everyone to say the focus will be right back on QLD racing now the Spring carnival is over.
It starts today with around 50 trials for me to go over from the last couple of weeks and I have to admit I am really looking forward to getting stuck into the local form and doing our usual ‘THE PUNT’ section.
Racing Qld have improved their site and although I find it a little slow sometimes the new additions to finding replays including barrier trials etc will be a great help to punters and it is a step in the right direction.
We’ve had racing minister Grace Grace announce $70 million to go to country racing which will also free up cash for the metropolitan area and at the same time we have Eagle Farm getting underway.
Racing in this state can be one of the more frustrating things to follow but at present going into Christmas there is a lot of positives and hopefully we can start kicking more goals into the new year.
