Everyone who follows Brissyraces knows we can only survive and keep the site going by getting some great sponsors on board and they are the key to this website that you follow. We have kept most of the sponsors on board again this year and added a couple of new business’ that are not only very successful but also have a great reputation, the latest being MALUA RACING!MaluaRacing...

Most punters and owners that follow the site would realize MALUA are based in Victoria out of Flemington and Ballarat stables. Both stables have incredible facilities (top class tracks, pools etc) and each can have around 30 horses in work each at a time.

John Sadler heads the Flemington team and brings a wealth of knowledge that only time in racing can give you. He has been around for a long time, trained Melbourne Cup winners and the job he has done with recent Group 1 winner LINTON has simply been outstanding to win the Stradbroke.

Clinton Youngson and James King are the assistant trainers while Troy Corstens is the general manager.

Troy is a very well-known figure all around Australia, he has been around horses his entire life and learned the game from his father and outstanding trainer Leon. The pair was behind such champions as HELENUS and STARSPANGLEDBANNER. Troy does an outstanding job promoting Malua through the media and is always available to chat about the horses and give in depth updates on the stable that I am really looking forward too. Most importantly the team buy a wide range of horses and obviously have some good processes  in place with the success they have had already and with the team coming through for the upcoming spring carnival. I believe Malua are taking the racing experience to the next level and are leading the way in which owners get updates/recordings/videos and pre/post-race comments. You can see this on the ‘facilities’ page of the website.

There are nearly always horses available at Malua and they have even run things like the Stayers Fund where multiple horses were purchased and you can take a small share in each. http://www.maluaracing.com.au/horsesforsale

The Malua Racing banner will always be up on the side of our front page so be sure to check in when you get a chance. I will also be checking in after some of the big sales for the latest purchases, getting stable updates, news and will even try to share Troy’s blog page from time to time where he looks over issues in racing.

Brissyraces can’t wait to keep you up to date with one of Melbourne’s leading stables and we are wrapped to have the guys on board!
