A few quick news items that people may not have caught up with yet.
**The latest I have heard from the horrible fall yesterday is that Larry Cassidy may escape with bruising and a sore back. However Prescilla Schmidt was not so lucky and looks as though she has a punctured lung, broken ankle and some broken ribs. Let’s hope she keeps her chin up as she was in great form and we never like to see our jockey’s injured.
** Liam Birchley will be leaving the Aquanita team and heading up his own operation again.
**Darryl Hansen’s appeal was denied yesterday and will have to serve a six month suspension. I will try to contact Darryl next week.
**Queenslander SHOOT OUT will join the Chris Waller team next prep.
