We will just run over some racing news but I want to kick off by just sending my regards to the Berry family. I do not know them at all but the news from Singapore (being reported) is that Nathan is in an induced coma and apparently has Norse Syndrome.
*Australia’s best mare APPEARANCE has been retired and a shot at the Doncaster where she would have started fav has gone begging.
*DISSEDENT is on song for his next assignment in the Rosehill Guineas this weekend. He galloped well yesterday in some work and all looks in place for another good run.
*After a couple of below par runs SAMAREADY is going to head to the sprints in Adelaide and will bypass the Sydney riches.
*FONTELINA looks as though his next run will be in the T.J.Smith. That is looking like being one of the races of the year!
*For those interstate we have copped plenty of rain in the South East corner over the week and we will continue to get it leading into the weekend. Some will say the meeting is in doubt but we will have to wait and see. My guess would be it should be fine but I would be very surprised if we were not on a heavy surface. I believe Doomben received about 80+ml on Tuesday night.
