As expected plenty of news around the traps:
*ZOUSTAR has won a trial this morning in Sydney. He was ordinary 1st up but did race ungenerously and was slightly lame after the race. ROYAL DESCENT ran 3rd in the same trial.
*War horse SECOND EFFORT has had a mishap and has been euthanized. He made nearly $700,000 in his career and was known as one of the best wet track horses in Australia.
*AFRICAN STORY won the Dubai World Cup overnight for team Darley.
*Glen Boss will ride EL ROCA in the Doncaster Mile. The horse is going super and Boss may well be the key along with the feather weight. For mine he is a key player and ROYAL DESCENT is the horse who may be a little forgotten.
*Racing likely to go ahead at Doomben again this Wednesday and the rail will be out 9m. (If I can pick a few out I will put up a little article but again it may be tricky with the wet surface and rail out so far)
