Was around $3.40 and to be fair I don’t want any shorter than the price quoted. She is a nice one on the way up and looks really well placed. Just needs a good steer and luck at the right time to be the horse they have to beat.

Sydney Race 9 No.2-SIGNORE FOX $6 and save REELEM IN RUBY $3.60
Have always liked SIGNORE FOX and loved the last run when dominant over our carnival up here. He has trialled well and has the ability to blow these away with a good steer. REELEM IN RUBY is a promising type also in the top stable. She trialled in the same race and went every bit as well. A Snowden quinella wouldn’t surprise. Happy to make SIGNORE FOX my main bet and the other one a small winning result.

Sydney Race 8 No.12- BRIMHAM ROCKS $4.40
To be honest I wanted to look around this horse but the more I looked at the race the more I come back to him. Horrible last prep but he’s been very good his last two. Hot race two back, got way out of his ground before running the 2nd best L600m and the best L200m of the race. Then went to Melb and was dominant after being wide with cover. Gets a good run and top jock on.

Not sure he can beat the fav but I’ve had a small bet 1w x 3p GARIBALDI in Melbourne at $21. t his best I feel he’d be right in a race like this. Obviously would have liked to have seen more 1st up but i’d be considering throwing him in any exotics or early quads.
