QUEENSLAND STUD’S SUCCESS…
Queensland’s premier stud, Glenlogan Park continues its dominance at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.
Over the past two days, yearlings from the Glenlogan draft have topped the Queensland lots.
The best seller was a Show A Heart filly from the former smart 2yo She’s Meaner,  by Glenlogan Park stallion Falvelon. She’s Meaner is a half sister to the Group 2 winner Love Conquers All, being from the Group 1 winning mare She’s A Meanie. This is her first foal.
The bay filly was knocked down to Gai Waterhouse and James Harron Bloodstock for $320,000.
On day three Glenlogan Park again topped the list with a chestnut colt by Falvelon from the Listed- placed mare Belong to Madam. She is the dam of four foals to race, all winners, including the Listed winner and Group placed, Conservatorium.
This colt will race in Adelaide with Kennewell Racing after their $230,000 purchase.
The other top priced Queensland lots in the past two sessions include:
Lot 252, a bay colt by Show A Heart out of Repercussions that went to Len Treloar for $150,000.
There’s been plenty of interest in Real Saga’s first crop, with a bay colt from the mare Thundering Girl going to Tim Martin Racing for $150,000.
$120,000 was paid by John Moloney for a chestnut colt by Show A Heart out of Zilzie.
Hencock Quality Bloodstock went to $100,000 for a Show A Heart chestnut colt from Stem the Tide.
The sale gross has now reached almost $52 million after three sessions – boasting an impressive average price of $127,684 for 407 lots sold.

Redoute's Choice-Cloister coltThe impressive clearance rate of 82 per cent last night has risen again to 84 per cent overall.

“Today was pretty much like yesterday,” Magic Millions Managing Director Vin Cox said.

“There was some spirited bidding around the complex and it’s great to see the clearance rate at 84 per cent – that is quite phenomenal.”

“We’ve got a lovely line up in tomorrow night’s fourth session and hopefully that clearance will hold strongly.”

The fourth session of the sale will be held from 6pm (Qld time) tomorrow following the $4.3 million Magic Millions Raceday at the neighbouring Gold Coast Turf Club.
