FALVELON’S FAB FIVE
Another fantastic achievement for Glenlogan Park, with Falvelon having five runners for five winners in just two days.
Last Tuesday he took out four races on the Townsville card with 2yo Sizzleon opening the program in dashing style over the 1000m for trainer Roy Chillemi to win in a hand canter.
That was followed up with 3YO filly Ultrazonal, who also dominated over the 1000m.
Rounding off the day for one of Queensland’s very best sires was a “Craiglea double” – with first Craiglea Gee Tee and then Craiglea Fighter giving Stan and Marilyn Johnston and their trainer Peter Fleming a winning day.
“You have to love these Falvelon’s,” Stan boasted. “Every single one of them can run and we have knocked up winning this QTIS money with them. Having been born and raised at Craiglea we have always had a soft spot for Falvelon – but our love affair with him is only getting stronger.”
Not to be outdone by the ‘Fab Four’, Ima Queenslander, backed up for Falvelon, winning on Wednesday at Eagle Farm.
Trained by Leon Morton Ima Queenslander was never in doubt as he easily accounted for his opposition over the 1000m despite not really appreciating the Heavy 10 rating.
Ima Queenslander was purchased from the draft of Glenlogan Park at the Magic Millions QTIS Sale a few years ago and looks all set to give his owners a terrific ride and plenty of fun.
QLD ALL THE WAY TO THE QTIS CASH
The efforts of the Queensland horses Buffering, Phelan Ready and Woorim to fill three of the first five positions across the line in the $1million G1 Newmarket Handicap was a fantastic achievement and a big indicator as to the strength of our racing up here.

And the money kept rolling in for the Queenslanders back home, thanks to the great bonuses offered in the QTIS races.

Two ‘pure-bred’ Queenslanders won the 2yo and 3yo QTIS races, with both Sires and the Dam’s Sires being Queensland stallions.
Race 3: 2yo QTIS Hcp (1300m) – Holey Gadoley (pictured coutesty Dan Costello Racing) (Monashee Mountain – Miss Marples (Falvelon)
Race 5: 3yo QTIS Hcp (1600m) – What About Me (Greenwood Lake – Warmuda (Brave Warrior)
Race 6: One Metro Win Hcp (1010m) – The Ringmaster (Clang)
If you want a crack at that QTIS money – you’ve got to be in it to win.
If you can’t get to the Gold Coast, check out the sales on-line this Sunday, March 18th and Monday, March 19th.
