Time to just brush over a little bit of racing news for those that may have missed it:
*MORE JOYOUS is officially in foal to the superstar FRANKEL
*Day 1 of the Karaka sales was again dominated by FASTNET ROCK who is setting Australasia alight at the moment. $800k, $700k and $680k were paid for the top three lots.
*2012 Melbourne Cup placegetter JAKKALBERRY has been retired.
*The new look Doncaster Mile will have a minimum of 50kg now. The last few have had a minimum of 52kg.
