With the carnival coming to an end you would think the news would slow down, but there is still plenty doing the rounds regarding the Perth carnival etc.
Here are some snippets:
*ALBERT THE FAT is NOT making the trip to Perth anymore. He had an elevated temperature when he was due to leave so the trip was called off.
*Perth’s rising sprinting star BARAKEY was running, then not running, then running again, but apparently the latest is that he will bypass the Winterbottom and go for a break.
*RAREFIED is meant to be making the trip for Snowden.
*MASTER HARRY is NOT making the trip across for the Moody camp.
*AMERICAIN has done very well since the Melbourne cup and will line up in the very suitable Zipping classic 2400m at Sandown on Saturday where he will meet all the Cup horses far better at the weights.
*The OTI syndicate will be keeping it’s horses in Australia with Peter Moody taking over the training of MANIGHAR, while Mike Moroney will take on DRUNKEN SAILOR.
*JIMMY CHOUX is now being set to run in the Hong Kong mile race.
