**The stewards looking into the Kristy Banks fall have come to the ruling that it was a racing incident and that no person specifically was to blame for the incident.
**Sydney cup weights are out and Americain was given 60.5kg topweight (not sure he will run there) Niwot was given 54kg and will be very hard to beat at the handicaps, as will promising Muirfield who has 52kg.
**Four officials have resigned from Racing Queensland almost immediately after the election. This has led to a lot of talk and people are thinking there may be a fresh start for racing up here. It may prove exactly right, but let’s just let it unfold is what I say for now, and the quicker things get fixed, the better.
**QLD filly Doubtfilly has arrived in Sydney for a crack at making the slipper field. She will run Saturday at Rosehill.
