Here is just a quick look at some racing news you may not have caught up with:
*Con and Tony Karakatsanis failed to get their disqualifications turned over on appeal. Tony will serve 2 years on the sidelines while Con will do 9 months.
*Dale Missen has been rubbed out for 12 months from a ride at the GC on April 27th. Missen will beappealing the findings and we will have to wait a while for the outcome.
*Massive weekend for both Scone and Doomben with huge acceptors for both.
*The fav’d have drawn well in the Doomben Cup with LIGHTS OF HEAVEN in 5, while FORETELLER will start one inside her from gate 4.
*The Doomben track is rated around the slow 7 at the moment but fine weather is predicted.
*Racing in South Australia has taken a step forward with a prizemoney increase. An increase of over $600,000 is on the cards for the following racing year. Well done to them and it will keep them in the game somewhat.
