Race 1:
Raced brigade usually have an advantage. LADY BANFF just on top of TICK TOCK BOOM and YES YUP YAY best of those on debut. Numbers: 2-4-6

RED STINA out in trip, up in weight but still just on top. DIXIE PREACHER first time this trip since arriving in QLD suits, as does the gate, he might be some value at $12. OWN SWEET WAY good last start but has to lump the weight here. Numbers: 2-5-1

Race 4: 6-2
Felt FAT MAX went up the wrong price around $15-16. Now around $10 about the right mark. Good when leading two back, nice turn of foot to hold them off last time out. Should land in first 3-4 and be the one to run down. MASLOW is the horse on the way up and clearly the one to beat. LORD HERRON $9 can find the front and be in this for a long way.

Race 7:
Really good speed, SPIRITS CHOICE will lead and lead for a long way. Every chance this track is playing to the front also. CHURNING has trialled well, gets a good gate and has upside, the $21 they went up was wrong and gobbled up quickly. SNOW VALLEY the one that looks over the odds at $14/$4.20. She has trialled well twice, she should land in front of midfield one off the fence and be strong late. Really like the drop in grade and the gate for MISS FABULASS, she just has to carry the weight to be a live chance. I’ve made them all winning results, any other horse is a losing result. Very little between them, as I type the value might be SNOW VALLEY $13-14.
On Top: 12-CHURNING $11 and 17-SNOW VALLEY $14
Next Best: 1-MISS FABULASS $5

Race 8:
Gollan gets the tactics right more than any other trainer. I’m sure the plan will be to bounce VEGA ONE out and be positive. He has TAMBO’S MATE outside him who will push hard early, it and DEEP IMPACT will go at a decent tempo and there looks to be a spot in the first 4-5 if VEGA ONE can jump well. If he finds that spot the $7 looks fair. You will know your fate early.
I love SIGNORE FOX, he’s been exceptionally good to me and he’s above average. If this was EF I would nearly declare him. Doomben on what should be a firm track and from a wide gate he’s likely to spot them a start. Could be hard to make ground. I’ve still saved on him, can’t let him be a losing result for me.
SNITCH is the one over the odds. This may just be too rich for him but I expect him to improve sharply. Better gate, sits in the 3rd pair with cover and goes in all exotics.

Next Best: 4-SIGNORE FOX $4, 9-SNITCH $23
