This is from last night where So You Think was beaten. There are 1000 different opinions and many thinking it is the end of the world. I thought i would give you my views and then give you the youtube clip so you can make up your own mind.
The first problem was the ‘pacemaker’ O’Brien engaged was slow out, had to use plenty of juice to get across, and when he did it checked So You Think and got him over racing. From there the ‘pacemaker’ set landspeed records and puntured at the 700m leaving So You Think in front. That would still have been ok, but Moore (the jockey) decided to let our champ run and set him alight way to early, leaving himself a sitting duck for Rewilding, who is a very high quality animal. Even so, he fought it right out and was reported to have had a good blow after the race. Aiden O’Brien had said he had been easy on the horse and that well well have been the difference between winning and losing. He has also come out today and admitted that and taken the blame. As upsetting as it is that he was beaten, it is not the end of the world. It is also worth noting how far they beat the other horses by (A bloody long way) I feel that he will improve and any race up too 2000m he may well be undefeated for the rest of his preperation. Only time will tell.
