Blackbook from the weekend:
CHICO MILAGRO- Fell out of the gates and was no hope from there. Best L600m and 400m of the day and the run was a great kickoff point.
MANGIONE- Blackbooked this horse last start and was wanting 1800m EF. They found a mile at Doomben which is ok but the gate was always a big concern. 3rd best L200m of the day.
MIAMI FLEISS- Went nearly 4L faster than benchmark to the 600m and was the quickest of three 1200m races on the day.
SOCIALISING- I’ve been banging on about her being a blacktype mare in the waiting and she’s just been waiting to find the right races. I was surprised with the drift and she had these covered from the corner.
GARIBALDI- When they took his swinger off they must have added rockets! He’s a new horse and highly exciting.
I’M SACKING:
GREAT KEPPELL- I’m dirty I feel into him and won’t be again.
THE FIRE TRAP and ASHMAN- Both Dunn runners and both have promised a bit but I can’t possibly come into them. I have no idea how ASHMAN was heavily supported Saturday. Yes it might have helped being up front but she’d have needed a travelator to beat Socialising.
GREY MISSILE- No idea but he’s just not the same horse. Age may have got him.
ACUMEN- Pulled up with issues after the first start for new stable (short odds) and tailed them off here when in the market to a degree.
