Talented 3yo Stereosonic made it 2 in a row this prep and 3 wins from 5 starts when he took out a 0-68 1400m hcp at Cranbourne yesterday. The son of Savabeel has now put together 3 wins and a second from only 5 career starts.

John and Troy decided to bypass Werribee Wednesday after he a poor gate and opt for this in which he fared much better jumping from 4.

In another 10/10 display, rider Jamie Mott let Stereosonic find his groove back on the inside, just worse than midfield and eased him off the rail at the opportune moment. He loomed up ominously on the turn and when Motty clicked him up, he converged on the leaders and drew away under some hard riding to score by a half length from Cool God.
To make the form look even better, the horse he beat two runs ago- Ezyaz Oscar ran 2nd on Wednesday behind another smart one in Elusive Bliss who looks to have a bright future.

He is a lovely progressive horse who will deserve a crack in town very soon.

Earlier in the day, debutante Export Gold bumped into a future Caulfield Guineas horse in Lord Sherwood. He ran him to a length in a more than adequate first up performance, but in saying that the winner never got out of 2nd gear.
