-FULL UPDATE at 8:30am QLD

Race 1:

AIMEE simply has to handle the back up and she is the one to beat again. This is very suitable.

NO PROBLEM is the big danger and should make a similar type of run as AIMEE, late and strong.

VINTAGE BON is the one who will be in front of the other two and is the other main player.

On Top:  3- AIMEE

Next Best:  1- NO PROBLEM, 6- VINATGE BON

Race 2:

Happy to think TRAKSTAR should put these away easy enough but I also think he could get to odds-on and if that is the case I am more than happy to watch on.

On Top:  4- TRAKSTAR  (not taking odds-on quote)

Race 3:

VALARIE D’AMOUR won convincingly last start against a few of these and if you were on there is probably no reason to jump off.

I feel SENTRA DESERT will get a far better trip in transit and should look the winner in transit. Cahill goes on and look for a bold run.

Tipped CABALLO RAPIDO against those two at $25 last start and the run was super. Simply had to go back to last on that occasion and the smaller field here suits perfectly. He is up to this and could again be the one over the odds.

Value: 5- SENTA DESERT

Hardest To Beat:  2- CABALLO RAPIDO,  10 – VALARIE D’AMOUR

Race 4:

Bit tricky to work out the pace here. Doesn’t look much on paper but wonder if putting Munce on RARE FRAGRANCE means they will be positive and position up in the first couple? Probably not a bad more and would give her a good chance in a race like this.

I am an ELLAWISDOM fan and she looked back to near her best in an easier race at the sunny coast last time out. Even with an even tempo she has a sprint not many can match. If she turns up on song she should be winning.

AWESOME RANSOM ran home hard last time in a good race behind DOCTOR DAVID and that is more than good enough to match up to these.

MS BA BELLA worth thought and really respect if we get storms and track is wet!

KING LUDWIG may be on pace and be given thoughts in trifecta’s etc.

On Top:  4- AWESOME RANSOM

Race 5:

QUADDIE TIME: I will probably go one out, but looks a safe sort of option with the top three runners.

Top 3 look to have it between them. Leaning to CASARATI off his last effort which finds him in out Blackbook. That run at 1600m will have him ready for this and love the turn of foot which is always good getting to the 1800m. Byrne can unleash him on the corner and he will be very hard to beat, looks one of the best on the card although I thought he’d be about a $4, not around $2.80.

SHE’S AMAZING was exactly that in an easier northern rivers race. She will sit on pace with the feather weight and should give a kick. The other won’t want to give her too much start.

SECRET HARMONY is always there abouts and the only real concern here is spotting the others so much weight. As usual he will make a run at them but may find one better again? Can win, I’m just risking him a touch against CASARATI.

NORTHERN ZOOM next best.

On Top:  2- CASARATI

Next Best:  3- SHE’S AMAZING,  1- SECRET HARMONY

Race 6:

What about the value some runners here! Luck will play a big part so go with whatever your head is telling you. Here is how I see it.

ALL THAT up 5.5kg and TRAIL BOSS up 6.5kg on their last runs but this is easier and have to be respected from good gates. Both can sit on or just behind the pace and get a few favours. Think $17+ is nice price for ALL THAT, and $8 probably fair TRAIL BOSS too.

ADORABUBBLE fans will be stoked with the $6-7 on offer.  Four wins from six runs, 52.5kg and a fast run 1000m is the perfect scenario.

BEACH BABE is not a horse I have been real keen on but Dunn has done a great job and gate 1 is perfect.

Forgotten horse may be PURE PURRFECTION as many say she is a ‘bridesmaid’. She did however finish in the money behind good horses last prep including Delago Bolt, Funtantes and Divine City. She is a bomb fresh and just needs some cover to be there late. Stablemate THE STOREMAN could also be in for a good prep. Ordinary gate here but like the fact Gollan has given him two trials leading in and could go to a better level this prep.

WHO WILL can be forgiven but is another with a bad gate. INTERJECT(SCRATCHED) flying but outside gate and 1000m not ideal?

Respect anything Kris Lees brings up and A BRIDGE TOO FAR with Munce on is one of those who is right in this.

*Every horse a chance and possible ‘field’ job in Quad if going shorter in other legs.

Thoughts: Slight leaning to  1- TRAIL BOSS  + 6- THE STOREMAN

Race 7:

There should be good pace with 1,3,5,13 all wanting to get a slice of the action early.

TIGER TEES is simply a trust job isn’t it? Hasn’t done anything for a long time but at his best he has won better races than this.

FIRE UP FIFI is the best horse in the race but she will have to be with 59kg against the boys. Byrne is in form and only has to keep her in touch for her to be able to run over them in the long EF straight. Pace on will help.

Not much between BYMONASHEE and BRIBIE when they bumped into River Lad who has franked the form since. Both are stepping up in grade here but with light weights are far from the worst.

BENNYS BUTTONS(WAS ON TOP< NOW SCRATCHED) is a teller machine spitting out the cash for owners. Always around the money, up in trip, back in trip it just doesn’t matter. Gets a nice run just behind the pace and gets every chance. STEEL ZIP is always around the same mark as him as well so has to be given a chance with the 55.5kg and Stewart on top.

On Top:  2- FIRE UP FIFI,  6- STEEL ZIP,  9- BRIBIE

Race 8:

If you are alive in the quaddie good luck because this is wide open. A handful of last start winners and many horses in form.

DOCTOR DAVID was the street corner tip last start where he was very good and beat the brave ESCOFFIER. Both horses are live chances here back at the 1300m although I thought ESCOFFIER may be looking for further now? ESCOFFIER meets DOCTOR DAVID 1kg better off at the weights here.

AVALADYLUCK got me in last time when I felt she was the best for the day. She was beaten but ran well. Happy to be on again at the 1300m from a good gate and dropping 4.5kg into this. No doubt she is best with a ‘cut’ in the ground so showers will help. If it is hot and 30+ degrees it may curb my enthusiasm a bit.

The swoopers are BUAKAW who is air born for Matty Dunn and MISHANI PERSAUDER who is screaming out for 1300m. Pretty keen to have something on MISHANI PERSAUDER if price allows also. Hard track and this trip is ideal! ($8.50)

On Top:  10- AVALADYLUCK

Value:  5- MISHANI PERSAUDER
