Off The Rails has completed a well-earned rest down in the southern highlands following on from his very impressive first up recent preparation. During his time in the stable Off The Rails thrived on his training and definitely came into his own when it was time for work. A stand out performer amongst the other young horses.
Looking as relaxed as ever and having matured further physically, Off The Rails is ready to head back into work and as of next week Off The Rails will return to pre-training at Hawkesbury for what should be his first full race preparation.
Off The Rails is a stunning looking horse that really displays all of the qualities of his sire Snitzel and in turn the qualities of an early two year old type. He has balance, strength, athleticism and above all a work ethic of a seasoned horse. Off The Rails is a ready-made two year old horse and will no doubt be featuring in the early two year old events later this year.
Snitzel has again had a stellar season during 2011/2012 with his two year old progeny and will claim second place on the Leading Sires list for two year old runners. With this crop of horses of two year old racing age he has had an amazing 35 runners for 14 individual winners, 4 of those stakes winners with his best performer Sizzling taking out the Group 1 TJ Smith in Brisbane during the winter carnival.
