Topline fillies return to work at Randwick

Classy two-year-old fillies Miss Fearless and Octaraja have returned to work in at Randwick today ahead of what should be their first full racing preparations. Both fillies impressed trainer Grahame Begg during their initial educational preparations where they progressed through to unofficial jump outs first time in before being sent to the paddock to be allowed time to further develop and mature.

Miss Fearless is by the crack two-year-old sire in Snitzel and is out of Uneasy who is by one of the most influential broodmare sires of the current generation in Zabeel. A beautifully balanced filly Miss Fearless showed from day one that she possesses plenty of early potential by taking to her training regime like a well-seasoned horse. It certainly won’t be long before we see her gracing the Sydney racing circuit.

Octaraja is by champion sire Lonhro from a Helissio mare in Lady Helissio who is already proven having two foals to race and both of which are winners. There is little doubt that it will be three winners from three to race when Octaraja finally gets her opportunity. An absolute powerhouse already at such a young age this filly clearly has the ‘X-Factor’ and will be one to watch in the future.

It is great having the young horses beginning to flow back through the stables and it won’t be long before Miss Fearless and Octaraja aren’t the only Topline two-year-olds in work. Other youngsters soon to be returning to training are promising colts Deflection and Quartzite who are also both due to be returning for their upcoming preparations. Best of luck to all of the owners in the Topline Thoroughbreds current crop of two-year-olds as they progress over the coming months.
