Wednesday- Brisbane Treble legs

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Let’s have a look at the last few races on the midweek card. They are not bad races but the first leg of the Quaddie is a maiden and does not interest me so we will have a look at the TREBLE legs instead.

NOW UPDATED as of 9:05am.

Race 6:

A few nice mares engaged here but I do believe MINING TYCOON has a hell of a lot more upside than the rest! She was huge on debut and just found one that got a better run in transit last time. All things equal she should be winning.

If there was one that could give you a scare it may be ANTARCTIC DREAM who looks to have come back very well and can run well.

Race 7:

Isn’t HEZA JETSETTER paying the price for a few early victories! Hasn’t really gone close to troubling them in 10 starts and has 60kg here.

GOTITALLWRONG was good last start and gets in well with the stablemate topweight. She also gets a claim for Allen and gate 1 which makes her very hard to beat.

GIOVANNA BELLA got the cash at good odds last start for blackbook followers and is a live chance here in a weak race.

ETRANGERE may be the best of the rest but leaning to the other two.

Race 8:

Our bloke SCREAMING JET goes around here and I would be upset if he doesn’t go close. I have always thought he would measure up but things have not panned out in his races. This is a crucial day to see where he is heading. Blinkers off.

I feel BRADY’N’ME is probably the underrated horse and did get close to Splendora not that long ago. Don’t sell him short just because he is a bush horse. Blinkers on first time here.

ROCK ROYALTY (scratched) is super consistent and is likely to start fav, while PUNTERS PRIDE can sprint well fresh even though I thought he would be better than the level he seems to be stuck at.

ADENARIUS was very good last time, can it reproduce?

EAGLE FARM treble:  (Will be updated but I’d look skinny and cheap today)
