Felt BARODA and INGEAR looked the two best winning chances but the bookies don’t want to risk either and have opened them rock bottom odds at $1.90 and $2.40. I will not be backing either of them at that quotes, stupid prices.

Race 2:
Feel in a weak race OUR ARIANNA can be competitive. Forget the first prep, did improve from first to second trial this prep and can be up on speed. Might be hard to catch around here and $5 a fair price.

Race 3:
Been saying for a month over at the GCTC website that PICTON is ready to win a race. Out to a mile is a little query so I want $3+ and he’s around that now. HUSTLED looks to me to be a horse that is improving and can win a couple. Looks over the odds at $13. I’ve had main bet PICTON but made HUSTLED a good winning result also.

Race 5:
SMARTYPY and QIJI PHOENIX are clearly the best horses in this race in my opinion. SMARTYPY has been out of form this prep. In saying that, she wasn’t beaten far in a hot race last time, this is a massive drop in grade and gets her chance. $5 seems generous. QIJI PHOENIX $4.40 had big wraps on him he never lived up to. He is now a gelding and pissed in at his latest trial. I can split my bet and back them both at these prices.
