Our latest partner is Topline thouroughbreds. They target top shelf youngsters from top shelf sires. Many of you would know about Topline, or may have seen their latest promotion on ‘Off The Rails’ on Sky where they gave away a share in a Snitzel yearling of the same name. A big positive is that they will be targeting Sydney racing where we know the prizemoney is far superior and it looks as though will continue to grow!

Racehorse syndication is a hugely popular way to become involved in horse racing as it offers all the thrills and excitement of owning your own winner at a fraction of the cost.
Topline Thoroughbreds, which purchases quality yearlings to be prepared by leading Randwick trainer Grahame Begg who puts the polish on current Group I performers such as Secret Admirer and Ilovethiscity.
The company is owned and run by director Rob Woods with Nick Melmeth engaged to work in sales and client liaison.
Rob Woods has owned and raced horses for many years, having raced them in syndication and full ownership and during that time has had horses run in the Magic Millions, Golden Slipper and win the Blue Diamond preview.
Rob’s role in being a director of Topline Thoroughbreds is a financial / client one managing the day to day running of the business, which focuses on providing a high class customer relationship and building the sort of client satisfaction that keeps owners coming back for more. Rob would like nothing more than to see Topline Thoroughbred owners enjoy all the thrills that he and his family have experienced over the years of his ownership.
Nick Melmeth is a valuable addition to the Topline team as he brings vast knowledge from having been involved in the industry for the past 10 years, starting off in bloodstock insurance, before moving to Queensland where he spent several years based working for a bloodstock agent, predominantly on yearlings selection and managing breeding schemes. Nick works very closely with trainer Grahame Begg in the day to day managing of Topline’s horses as well keeping owners well up to date with the progress of their horses.
Topline have purchased a number of quality yearlings at the sales this year on the advice of renowned former trainer and now bloodstock agent Bill Mitchell in conjunction with Grahame Begg and are currently offering shares in the following youngsters.
First up is a colt (pictured below) by a very popular young sire in Snitzel, who has been in the news of late courtesy of a couple of very smart performers in top class two year-old Sizzling and brilliant Golden Slipper runner up Snitzerland. The colt is a half-brother to stakes-winner Yourein from stakes-placed mare It’s You he will be raced in conjunction with Sky Racing’s Off The Rails program and is named Off The Rails
Fastnet Rock is another sire that is hotter than hot after recently posting his 11th Australian stakes-winner this season. This filly from super sire Fastnet Rock comes from one of the best female families in the world, her third dam being Fanfreluche, whose many superstar descendants include champion Australian sires Encosta de Lago and Flying Spur.
Reiging champion sire Lonhro and sire of triple crown winning two year old Pierro is unmistakably the sire of this beautiful black filly (pictured below) from Lady Helissio, this filly’s dam Lady Helissio has produced two foals to race both being winners.
Chosir is another sire that consistently produces winners and Stakes winners, this bay colt (pictured below) from Baffled is a three-quarter brother-in-blood to a former brilliant stakes winning two year-old in Horizons, he’s the sort of colt that is expected to be out and running early and will be targeted towards the the 2013 Magic Millions.
Exceed and Excel the producer of 43 stakes winners, this colt from Rondavel (pictured below)
Is a full brother to stakes winning and Blue Diamond Preview placed Sabie, when purchased Grahame Begg commented this colt is just born to run early.

**I can let everyone know I’m wrapped to have TOPLINE on board with Brissyraces. I think Rob and the team have a good crop from last year, and this lot look extremely promising. I’ve got a soft spot for a couple!
