This is always an intriguing race and it’s no different this year. Way too many chances to name so if i don’t name one you like, don’t be too concerned.
I’ll start by saying DOUCEUR is the one that interests me around $13. She was excellent in the spring when 2nd in the Wakeful and then 2nd in the Oaks. No luck in her first two runs back (the 2nd run was brilliant) and then pulled up lame last start. I’m simply forgetting she went around and going on previous form. She also meets a handful of fillies that come out of that race a heck of a lot better at the weights. Handles all conditions so if any rain falls she will be fine.
MY WHISPER is simply a winner. Loves a fight, draws well with Kah to ride. All positives.
BUNDLE OF FUN had been very good over in Tasmania and just continued to get better with each run. She was given a let up and joined the Payne team. Her first up run was a big tick and she comes to the perfect trip for her ready to peak. J.Allen from a good gate gives her every chance to win here.
DAISIES is one of the more consistent fillies and she did take off a bit early last start. Expecting a better timed run here. LADY CHANT has already had a grand final and has the get back pattern but she is always attacking the line and can run into it late. GLINT OF HOPE and BINS A PERLA both have form all around these.
