Trials were at Doomben today and here are a few that went well.
BETTER GET SET– Has shown ability in trials and not on the track yet. Might be a bit stronger this prep and hard to beat fresh in the right race.
ONE MORE FIELD– Showed speed and found without being asked. Good trial and can run well on debut.
MELO MELO– Sat back and worked into it really well. Yet another handy one for the Gollan camp.
DOMINANT KING– Nice first trial, did everything right and looks a ready made racehorse.
ONE SHY RUBY/ISOTOPE/STAROSA– All in the same trial and all about as good as each other. They have ability and should all be competitive when they step out.
MS CATHERINE– A fast horse you’d expect to win trials but she has a good record and joins the Gollan camp.
REALLY DISCREET– Another new horse to the Gollan camp. Won her last two starts for Stokes and this trial says she will win some up here too.
DEEP IMAGE– Nice through the line late and a class horse on his day.
KALIYA– Soft as you like. Doesn’t look big but has some ability.
