Blackbook -Aquis Park Gold Coast 21/2
GEITZ- Is a 10 start maiden but this run was full of merit. Not a lot of horses made ground out very wide but she did. No match for the winner but off this late effort you’d think she can win a race here soon.
HEAVENLY IMPACT- I felt the only way this horse couldn’t win was if they went back to last, and yup, they went back to last. The horse is flying at the moment and just has had no luck with gates and tempo’s etc. Sure to win a race soon and I think they could have sat wide the trip midfield and just won this easily.
DOOMBEN BB
A very good day out with some winners at Doomben and that always makes the replays easier to watch.
Could have been a super day out but 3-4 of the on top selections featured in the stewards reports with slow recoveries, lame etc.
The Wheelbarrow (Race 4)- Looked the best of the day and saluted in style. The good gate was the key and got a perfect ride from Rodd. Peeled out on the corner, got fresh air and turn of foot was good. The runner up made a race of it but he picked up again through the line when he heard the other horse and has more wins in store.

Shredded (Race 5) – Eligible for easier races and keeps improving. Travelled well when many were off the bit. Beaten by a classy one here in Fabulantes and no disgrace in that. Has good upside and if they stay in work, he can be placed to win.
