Combining Far North Queensland’s biggest race days into a nine-day extravaganza, the Cairns Jockey Club is excited to launch the Great Northern Brewing Co. Cairns Super Carnival in 2025.

With the Red Beret Hotel Cairns Cup poised to celebrate its 114th edition and the Great Northern Brewing Co. Cairns Amateur Cup marking its 67th milestone, the two events these iconic events will unite to deliver an unforgettable celebration of racing offering attendees an unparalleled blend of tradition, excitement, and entertainment from Friday, 15 August to Saturday, 23 August at Ladbrokes Cannon Park.

After missing a year and having horrible FOMO, I will be back with my little gang that come every year! I can’t wait for the new arrangement of the carnival, looks a great decision to have it over 8 days. We have met some wonderful people over the years and can’t wait to see them all again.

There are options for everyone over this carnival.

There is the launch event to kick the party off. There is a Sportsmen’s Luncheon and Calcutta for the punters and of course three big race days. General Admission is always fun but there are many options for all inclusive packages that make it easy all day. (I’ll add them below)
