Typhoon Tracy has passed away after giving birth to a Street Cry foal (colt). She was a champion of race horse and unfortunately she will only have the one chance to show us what she may have been as a broodmare. I believe the birth was pretty straight forward but she ruptured an artery and bled.
If it wasn’t for Black Caviar we would have this girl right up there with Makybe Diva and Sunline fighting it out as the best mare of the last couple of decades.
She won 11 of her 20 races including six Group 1’s and she made over $2.4 million in prizemoney.
Let’s just hope the little colt turns out a beauty for connections!
