Wet day at Eagle Farm Saturday but it was nice to find a few winners on the card. There are a few from the day I am keen to follow and that we can make some money on shortly.
PEMBREY (Race 1) – Clearly the best 2yr old we have seen in Qld this year. She had trialled the house down for Gollan but the query was this trip on a wet track to debut. Not a drama, travelled well and showed a turn of foot to win easily. She may well be a very good one.
GREEN FLY (Race 7)– Was well placed against these and they decided to carry the big weight. Come from last and was just a different class. They can stay here for another run, claim 3kg for a good apprentice and probably win again.
