Not many better recipe’s for a punt than a dry Doomben with the rail in. Would put a horn on a jellyfish!
Good card without a lot of standouts for me though. As mentioned in the Early Look I think PRINCE OF BOOM is very well placed if we get anywhere near that $3 range. Away from that a lot seem too short or just too many queries on maps for me. I’ve given a sneak peak of one of the races and how the previews look for those that haven’t read them.
BEST BET: Race 7 #1 PRINCE OF BOOM $2.90
Next Best might be Race 2 NEXT DIMENSION $4 (saver Deep Sceiva)

Not an easy race but very interesting. Have never been in the corner of DEEP SCEIVA but she was starting to work the game out and win me over last prep. She is at the 1350m 1st up but she draws well and gets the 3kg claim for Kilner. She will be right on speed and may well be very hard to run down. NEXT DIMENSION can be right up on speed with DEEP SCEIVA and he has race fitness on his side. He has won his last two races (both 1350m) and has been freshened leading into this. He’s the perfect type for these CL3 plates, good record (9:3:2:2) and still plenty of upside left. BETTER LAD mixes his form horribly but hasn’t really ever been placed well. Dropped from a G3 to a CL2 and was able to break back into the winners circle last start. May get some confidence from that. Another handful you can make a case for but NEXT DIMENSION and DEEP SCEIVA interest me up on speed. Could have win bets them both if prices allowed or I’ll back NEXT DIMENSION and save DEEP SCEIVA.
