Another hot, dry week but the track has been playing well. As always you want a gate from the sprint trips and a good run in transit. Looks a good days racing as you’d expect.

Race 1 No.2- MASS DESTRUCTION $2.40
Looks a race in two. The blinkers may help WAY BEYOND, as will getting to 1200m. Just feel he will spot them a start and Doomben not the best track for it. MASS DESTRUCTION should be able to race on speed, dictate and give a kick to hold them off.

Race 2 No.2- ZIEMBA $3.80
Wasn’t going to tip in this race as it looks very competitive. Big fan of CELLERMAID, just concerned back to Doomben and 1350m not a good recipe for her. SCOUT looks to get all the favours and can be hard to catch. ZIEMBA has a bit of upside, fitter for the fresh run where good against the older horses. Should be able to land 1/1 if Fradd bounces him out and feel he might be the one to run down SCOUT the last 50m.

Race 4 No.14- OPTION $19/$5
Out to 2200m will suit, been very strong his last couple of runs. Has finished next to RED STINA and EQUIPPED his last couple, they are much shorter prices than this bloke. Should be able to land close to midfield and there looks a decent tempo which would be ideal. Just looks the value in an open race for mine.

Race 6 No.1-SNITCH $2.70
If he brings his best he should be the days best. Both runs back have had merit in harder grade. From the gate he should be able to land in the first 4-6 in running depending on tempo. He did box seat this track/trip last prep and beat the likes of Magnufighter, much better than this lot. Around the $2.70 is about the right price.

Race 8 No.6-LE JUGE $11/$3.30
Another that just seems over the odds. Should be around 2nd fav in my opinion. His record is outstanding in QLD. Went to Syd to race up in grade but returns to much more suitable races in the sunshine state. His run was good at the SC, gets a better gate here and he races best for Fradd. Obviously THE CANDY MAN is the one to beat off an enormous win last start, just think a hard track and low gate are little queries. Was also going to tip NICCANOVA at the $15 but into $7 seems too short now.
