Bit of a theme here- Gollan!
HURTS SO GOOD– Good last prep and ran 3rd behind a couple of very smart ones. I don’t expect them to aim to high and can win early in prep.
WEIGALL TIGER– Had fitness on it’s side thanks to recent racing. Got back, quiet in straight but very good through the line and nice tick over trial.
FIND ME– Lightly raced gelding for Gollan who was just ok in initial prep. Sat outside lead here and put them away very quickly. You’d be surprised if this wasn’t winning a race this prep.
MEHRETU– 5yr old mare for Gollan who is still a CL1 horse after 11 starts. Sat off the leaders and best horse late in a sprint home. Off this trial she shouldn’t be a class 1 horse for too long.
NOW IS THE HOUR– Didn’t show much at all down south but has joined Gollan. Little turn of foot on the corner to kick away and did it easy the last 150m. Will win a race up here off this effort.
LADY OF FIVE– Might have beaten nothing here but looks a fast horse. Might be a hard one to toss on debut showing that sort of speed.
