Edmonds stable update

One of our members put me onto a horse he had some time for called Three Red Roses from the Toby Edmonds team. I did catch up with Toby a couple of months ago and I hope people followed the horse as she has won her last two starts.

I thought it was worth checking up on her progress and see what Toby made of her wins. “She got up to her right trip, struck a wet track and won easily, then progressed to a class 2 that she won, and now we have put her in the paddock as she is still a little immature.” Edmonds told me.

It is worth noting that Three Red Roses is a nice bred staying filly and I am sure under Toby’s guidance can really work through the grades nicely and run well in the races at 1800m and over.

I also found out that Girl Hussler has just come back into the stables to start another prep. Toby will also have a few horses heading to the Grafton carnival with Emvoss a chance for the Guineas 1600m. “He’s had two runs back now with the first one a bit unlucky, and the second run definitely unlucky, but he is heading in the right direction.” Toby said. If he doesn’t get a run in the guineas he could run in a class 2 race on the same day. Asyoucando will probably run that day, and he may have a runner on the Thursday also.

As always it’s good to catch up with guys like Toby as they are great judges of horses. He does have shares available in a nice yearling colt by Private Agenda x Avec Trois.  I will post more details of it in the coming week or so, but if you are interested in racing it with Toby, just flick me an e-mail and I will get you in touch with him.
