EF and blackbookers

Another day at Eagle Farm and another pretty ordinary day for me. If it wasn’t for NUDGE it would have been horrible. She is just a mare in incredible form and right in the groove.

People who have followed me for a long time will know i’m honest and I want people to win as much as possible. I’d just follow me a lot close at the other tracks. Give me GC and Doomben and I feel like I can’t lose long term. We have had a great record for a long time there. Sunny Coast and Ipswich not as much but with dry tracks and decent rails should be winning.

On the other hand give me any rail, any weather at Eagle Farm and I simply feel it’s a lottery and I don’t feel like I can win there. The only thing I can see that might change that is to see if a pattern starts to occur where the EF trained horses strengthen up to the firmness and start winning everything? I will continue to look for something but I just back too many horses who pull up sore or that get beaten way too far to be explained and I’m just not handing over my hard earned anymore until I feel I can turn it around.

BLACKBOOK:

INCENTIVISE- My god Steve Tregea is a good trainer and this horse was incredibly good here. A dominant win and who knows where he ends up this prep.

BOOMTOWN LASS– Beaten fair and square by a good horse and better tactics. She was good again late and will be suited back to mares grade. Also needs to finally draw a gate. She has drawn the outside half of the field 12 of her last 16 starts which makes it hard.

NUDGE– She’s just airborne. 3 weeks to freshen and be ready for the 1400m G1.
