The weights for the Newmarket have been released. Interesting to see where a few line up. It is about the best race of the year in my eyes. I love a high class handicap and there is nearly always value about!
MOMENT OF CHANGE is on top with 58kg and that is a task. He is however in super form.
LANKAN RUPEE is also flying and he has 56.5kg. QLD horse SPIRIT OF BOOM had 55.5kg.
One horse up in the weights is SHAMEXPRESS and I feel he is the right horse. A long way to the race but he interests me early.
Others that create a lot of interest are KNOYDART (52.5kg) who has been terrific his last two, UNPRETENTIOUS (53kg), and BERNABEU (50kg) who was super in the spring but needs a dry track and not sure where he is after the last start flop?
