Well we are within a week of the Cup and news is starting to come thick and fast. Many punters are sweating on horses like Brigantin and Shahwardi getting a run in the big one and need horses to drop by the wayside.
So far today we have:
*SOLEMN out of the Derby this Saturday with an elevated temperature. He was very good at Geelong in the Derby trial and that is a shame for Darley.
*HOWMUCHDOYOULOVEME and NECHITA had separate jump outs but the reports out of Melbourne were that both were exceptional!
*OCEAN PARK looks as though he will line up in the MacKinnon. His early price is $1.70…
*MOURAYAN who I think is a terrific chance in the Melbourne Cup was originally going through the MacKinnon towards the cup, however will go straight into the big one without another run. I can’t believe markets still have him around $29. Who knows, we may even get more on the day?
